Take a walk on the wild side.

Located in the Woodley Park neighbourhood of Washington D.C, the National Zoological Park is home to around 2000 animals. Covering an immense area of 163 acres, this zoo houses a staggering 400 or so different species of animals, of which about 25% are endangered. With 18 thematic areas to explore, do not miss the wildly popular giant pandas, which are perennially a crowd-puller.


Head for the exciting Elephant Trails, exotic Amazonia and get up close to the big cats at the Cheetah Conservation Station. Moreover, kids will be delighted to explore cute, furry creatures at the Kid’s Farm. Do not leave without taking selfies with the two majestic lion statues flanking the main entrance!
