Housed in a building with striking architecture, the National Museum of History is dedicated to the collection and preservation of Chinese art, which dates all the way back to the Neolithic period. The museum is home to a rich and extensive collection, covering from ancient Chinese dynasties such as the Song, Tang, and Ming, all the way up to the modern era.


Marvel at the delightful dancer and musician figurines of the Six Dynasties and admire the green-glazed pottery of the Han dynasty. Don’t miss the astounding nine-layered stone tower embellished with the motifs of the thousand Buddhas, which dates back to the 5th century AD.
