Havana, Cuba
National Museum of Fine Arts

Fine arts, fine building, but stellar experience, right here at this museum.

Exhibiting the finest art of the Cubans, its name suggests exactly what it has in store. Using the word “fine” to describe its art pieces, it is absolutely apt in choosing so. Featuring pieces from Spain, Italy, Holland, Greece, Great Britain, Asia and also Germany, the variety this museum covers is literally all over the world! Not just boasting a widespread variety geographically, in terms of time, the museum covers pieces from many centuries ago! What a spread before us at this fine museum.

From the stunning pieces housed here, the building is no less amazing. Clad with a stained glass ceiling, the pieces are housed in the former Palace of Asturian Centre, the gorgeous Spanish Renaissance building was made of marble from three different countries - Italy, Spain and the United States. Truly a work of art inside and out, this fine museum really does live up to its name.
