The Nan Lian Garden which was built during the Tang Dynasty, is a public garden located in Diamond Hill, Kowloon, China. It spans over 35,000 square metres wide and every piece of rock, tree and water body was designated according to the rules of Tang style. It is designed in a one-way circular route organisation, making it easy for visitors to navigate.


Following this route will bring visitors to the Lotus Pond and Blue Pond, the Zi Wu Bridges, the Pine Path, the Pavilion of Absolute Perfection and the Chinese Timber Architecture Gallery which are all key features of the park. Other facilities for use include a souvenir shop, vegetarian restaurant and teahouse as well. A calm respite from the hustle and bustle in the city, Nan Lian Garden is perfect to spend a couple of hours.

Tips Before You Go
Do note that respect must be observed so come properly dressed and don’t bring along your pets. No eating is allowed in the gardens to maintain the well-manicured area. But other than that, all visitors are encouraged to come as the park is free to enter!
