A beautiful city park located in Hokkaido, Japan!
The Nakajima Park is a city park situated in Chuoku Province, Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan. It is home to a variety of attractions, from a lake that runs through the park, to two streams, a museum, an observatory, a historical building housing a tea shop and even a concert hall and several forested areas! Aside from that, the park is also one that includes religion. Two shrines line the southern end of the park as well. The park prides itself of its wide array of tree species, including red spruce, yew and Japanese elm.
The biggest feature amongst the myriad of attractions is the Shobu Pond, somewhere in the middle of the park. Named ‘Kitara’, the concert hall which opened in 1997, remains the largest in Hokkaido and houses facilities like a restaurant and rehearsal rooms inside. Several sporting facilities like tennis courts are also available for public use. There is bound to be something for any day. So whether you’re here with your family or simply wish to find a place to stroll, this is certainly not to be missed!
