The biggest open-air museum in all of Russia.
Shared between the modern art division of Tretyakov Gallery and Central House of Arts, Muzeon Park of Arts in Moscow is the biggest open-air sculpture museum in all of Russia. This incredible park is the final home for many Soviet statues expelled from Russian parks and squares upon the fall of Communism.
Today, this collection spans over 700 sculptures, of which, the highlights would be countless massive Lenin statues no longer on pedestals, a de-nosed Stalin, the huge steel sculpture of the Soviet empire, and monuments to the Red Army. With comfortable benches, a beautiful fountain, bicycles for hire and a cafe, the Muzeon Art Park attracts both young and old, locals and visitors to its grounds to hang out and immerse in the history and culture of Russia.
