Museum of Miniatures

Be careful in Anatolij Konenko’s world of miniatures as you stomp around feeling like a giant.

From seeds, a strand of hair, slivers of bones and needles, Konenko has exercised spectacular patience, control and precision as he works his magic. Crafting out a caravan of camels parading through a needle’s eye, to a menagerie of animals marching across on a mosquito’s leg!

With this great skill, Konenko has managed to become one of the few successful micro-miniaturists, shaping his own tools to match his craft. Konenko has over the years, been inspired by his very own canvas, creating stunning pieces. From miniature replicas of popular artworks, his work includes replicas of Da Vinci’s masterpieces, Henri Matisse’s as well as Rembrandt! Truly a gift from God, he has even managed to replicate iconic landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower, in jaw-dropping 3-dimensional look! His great skill did not come easy as he had toiled and crafted his own tools, even subjecting himself to only working in between heartbeats! This was for fear that he would otherwise, destroy his creations. An amazing artist with an equally amazing craft, you must head here and peer through the magnifying glass or microscopes and see them for yourself.
