A fascinating look into the making of modern London.
The Museum of London is an urban history museum that documents the growth of London from prehistoric jungles to modern metropolis. The exhibits are laid out in chronological order, such that you start from the early ages with Paleolithic displays to the London that we know today, featuring the art piece that was featured during the London 2012 Olympics. Many other historic events are documented here such as the Great Fire of 1666, which burnt for three days, with temperatures running so high that it melted steel. The museum also has various themed exhibitions and events running from 1600’s fashion of corseted dresses, to a Paddington Bear meet-and-greet. The exhibits, both interesting and informative, are suitable for adults and children and are bound to keep you enraptured!
