Czar PRL- muzeum życia minionej epoki / https://www.facebook.com/muzeumczarprl/

Be transported back in time to the Communist era with a visit to the Museum Czar PRL. Catch a glimpse of what life was like behind the Iron Curtain for 45 years through the interesting collections of exhibits. From the iconic busts of Lenin and Marx to the Soviet uniforms and Communist-era radios, there are also many mundane objects on display here, all sourced from private donors.

A very striking exhibit is that of a spartan kitchen, which provides visitors greater insight into what life was like in a typical Polish household under an austere regime. See the quaint 1980s’ cooker and fridge, a rather bare bedroom with a basic wooden bed with walls adorned with the sombre portraits of Communist leaders. With just two rooms, it will not take much of your time, but this museum sure packs a punch for its size. It is certainly worthy of being included in your itinerary while in Warsaw.
