Museo de Arte Moderno de Buenos Aires

Another museum to add to the art enthusiast’s bucket list.

It’s hard to imagine that the Museo de Art Modern de Buenos Aires (Buenos Aires Museum of Modern Art) used to be a giant tobacco warehouse. After its complete renovation in 2010, the museum’s collection numbers over 7,000 works of modern Argentine art that dates all the way from the early 20th century to the present. You can admire works by the Emilio Pettoruti and Antonio Berni amongst these works.

Exhibitions include art by emerging artists, and reflects the dynamic and evolving culture of the country. The spacious museum of four levels presents to visitors a variety of mixed media, including photographs and varying art styles, such as figurative and conceptual art. This prominent red-bricked building with its avant-garde space promises to thrill visitors and have them still in reveling in the experience as they leave. So what are you waiting for?
