The Museo Cerralbo is a museum located in the former home of the Marquis of Cerralbo. Showcasing more than 50,000 collections, it is one of the most important in Madrid. Opened in 1944, this museum has retained the lavish aesthetics of its rooms, many of which are decorated with baroque furniture, wall paintings, and luxurious chandeliers. The collections include paintings, sculptures, ceramics, medals, weapons, archaeological artifacts and more, all of which were donated by the Marquis himself. With works of art and everyday objects set in their original rooms, head down for an immersive experience as this museum paints a perfect picture of how aristocratic families lived back in the day.
