Musée Mécanique

Relive your childhood days here!

Musée Méchanique is situated in Fisherman’s Wharf, and it is one of the largest privately owned collections of 20th century penny arcade games and artefacts in the world. One of the most attractive places to visit in San Francisco, many flock to this museum where they can pay to play, to relive fond childhood memories of all the fun kicked up with arcade games.

More than 200 of these mechanical games are displayed, and it also contains rare and historical paraphernalia like a huge diorama of a traveling carnival with a ferris wheel and other carnival rides, the only steam-powered motorcycle in the worlds, the Royal Court diorama, Laffing Sal, and even a collection of machines created out of toothpicks! So take a trip down memory lane when you enter Musée Méchanique - it promises a bucketload of retro fun!
