Municipal Library of Prague

Peer down this massive rabbit hole of books just like Alice did from Alice in Wonderland, be careful not to fall! If not, you might just wake up, too big or too small to fit through doors.

Its main attraction the massive infinity book tunnel, the Municipal Library of Prague houses more than that. One of the largest libraries in Prague, it is a spectacular place. Housing more books than you have ever seen in your life, it not only serves to be a library, but also plays host to exhibitions of contemporary art and even concerts!

A multi-purpose library, over here, you can indulge in a day of reading an intriguing thriller or perhaps even a biography of a famous person. A day well-spent being educated, your horizons are sure to be broadened by the vast amount of knowledge you can take in here. As you finish up a day of reading, perhaps you’d care to hop by the cinema! End off your day, kick back and relax with a movie playing before you. Finally touching on the infinity book tunnel, this multi-coloured installation by Matej Kren is a stunner. Looking like a vortex of books, you are immediately lost into this vortex of endless books, appearing not to have any end. Lost in this abyss, no other installation matches it. A multi-purpose building that provides plenty of opportunities to indulge in relaxing activities, the building’s beautiful installation completes your trip here.
