Tips Before You Go
If you would like to climb this iconic mountain, do come well-prepared with sufficient food, water, clothing and wear comfortable hiking shoes. There are mountain huts and resting stations along the way providing amenities such as food, toilets and overnight stay options, but do remember to bring along some cash as extra charges apply. The peak climbing season is usually in July and August, so plan your trip accordingly if you would like to avoid the crowds.
