Listed as one of the 100 Famous Japanese Mountains, Mount Yarigatake is a mammoth, towering at a height of 3,180m and situated on the southern part of the Hida Mountains, straddling the borders of Matsumoto and Ōmachi. With four main ridges - Higashikama, Yarihotaka, Nishikama and Kitakama, the different routes provides different levels of challenges to interest anyone keen on scaling her slopes.
