Hike up to the summit of Mount William and get your breath taken away by the view it offers.
At 1,167 meters, Mount William is the highest point in Grampians National Park. Hikers climbing to the top of this mountain will be handsomely rewarded with stunning 360-degree views of the mountain ranges and open plains. Mount William is an extremely popular destination for city dwellers, especially since it is so close to the city of Melbourne, and it takes the hustle and bustle of city life away. Come here and have a picnic at the various picnic grounds, hike and rock climb, or just relax and enjoy the scenic landscape this place has to offer. Guided or self-guided tours are also available. Your best bet though is to drive to the carpark about 920 meters up the mountain, then take a moderate level hike of 1.8 kilometers to reach the summit. We guarantee you; it's worth it.
