A popular attraction in Wilsons Promontory National Park, the Mount Oberon Summit Walk brings you to the top of Mount Oberon, where mesmerizing views await. After a 3.4 kilometers hike up, visitors will be greeted with views overlooking the coast and offshore islands, as well panoramic sights extending across Tidal River. However, preparation for the hike is recommended, as it has a steady incline and while the majority of the walk in on wide, compacted gravel ground, the steps up to the summit are steep. Also, do be careful of the unprotected areas of the cliff, and keep warm as the summit can be very windy and cloudy. Otherwise, this hike will be an enjoyable and rewarding one!
