The Moscow Kremlin is a famed Russian citadel serving as the official residence of the President of the Russian Federation situated in the heart of Moscow. To the South of this incredible place lies the Moska River; to its east stands Saint Basil’s Cathedral and the Red Square; and to its West, Alexander Garden sits. Its prime location makes it an unmissable part of Russian culture, and a very photogenic spot. Within the Kremlin lies five palaces, including the Grand Kremlin Palace, four cathedrals, the surrounding Kremlin Wall complete with the Kremlin towers.


Within this complex, you can see the Armoury Chamber housing more than 4000 unique exhibits, Assumption and Archangel Cathedrals - the burial places of Russian metropolitans, patriarchs, grand princes of Moscow, appanage princes, and first Russian tsars. The Patriarch palace within the grounds now houses the Museum of Applied Art and Lifestyle of 17th-century Russia, and you can admire the grand architecture of the Ivan the Great Bell-Tower Ensemble, the architectural centre of Moscow for centuries which now houses the Museum of History of the Kremlin Architectural Complex.
