The exterior of the museum itself is a pretty sight: the elegant, four-storey townhouse in warm tones has a rustic feel. There are even a few statues littered around the garden. However, you definitely must step inside to see the true works of art. Their exhibitions mainly feature the rising contemporary stars of the art world, and are kept fresh by guest curators who change up the exhibits every now and then. Very unlike the sedateness of a traditional museum, you are rewarded with attention-grabbing pieces that utilize an explosion of color, providing what is indeed a visual feast.

The highlight of the museum is definitely the exhibit by street artist Bansky. An English-based graffiti artist, his works of political and social commentary are in a museum for the first time at Moco! Check out iconic pieces such as ‘Beanfield’, and ‘Girl with Balloon’. Pieces of his outdoor work are also on display, having been salvaged from the rubble of demolished buildings. It is even possible to buy original Banksy works, or host events in the museum shop if you so desire! After this glimpse into the usually hidden art world, anything feels possible.
