Mini Israel

See Israel in a miniaturised form and be astounded by the very life-like displays.

Located near Latrun in the Ayalon Valley, Mini Israel is a miniature park, which spans an immense area of 60,000 square metres. Opened in 2002, it is home to around 385 replicas of notable Israeli buildings and landmarks. Other models include 30,000 figures, 500 animals, 100 motorbikes, 4,700 cars, 14 trains, 3 helicopters, 32 aircrafts, 175 ships and 230 trucks. There are also around 15,000 real trees and bonsais.

From an aerial view, the park is shaped like the Star of David, with each triangle representing major cities such as Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and Haifa. If you look closely enough, you’ll be able to see tiny replicas of iconic landmarks such as the Mount of Olives and the Wailing Wall. Some of the exhibits even feature running water (such as in the miniature Jordan River) and small animal figurines, which represent the wildlife native to these lands. If you do get hungry, enjoy a good meal at one of the various restaurants and pick up a lovely gift at the souvenir shop before you leave.

Tips Before You Go
This tourist attraction is rather expensive, which is why it’s recommended that you only visit if you’re a really big fan of Israel. The attractions themselves are rather dilapidated, but they do give a somewhat eerie, old-world charm if you’re into that kind of thing.
