50 kilometers from Beijing, lie the mausoleums of thirteen emperors of the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644). Spanning an area of over 120 square-kilometers, these are the best-preserved mausoleums with the most emperors buried. Each mausoleum has its own unique characteristics, but all of them were constructed in harmony with ‘Fengshui'. Visit the Changling Sacred Way and be amazed by the Great Red Gate and stone figures. Explore the Changling Tomb where Emperor Zhu Di and Empress Xu lie and look out for the three stunning courtyards and Treasure City. Gaze at the precious relics of Emperor Zhu Yijun at the Dingling Tomb and do not miss the crescent-shaped yard, located at the foot of Dayu Mountain.
