Housed within this building is quite simply, space; empty halls of varying sizes. That is until an exhibitor finds use of such central spaces which to display his/her wares and services to a market ravenous for the innovative and the new. Annually, much like a revolving door, the hollowed halls within the Miami Beach Convention Center would see a cornucopia of exhibitors and visitors fill these halls, and then be replaced by yet more visitors and exhibitors, and then be replaced...such is the foundation of the enduring appeal of a structure that simply houses space.

That is until recently.

Embarking on an overhaul effort of the structure since October 2015, the center has been retooled, renovated and expanded to assume a more versatile role in the lives of the local and greater community. Visitors can look forward to the new public lawn, more parking spaces, a full glass facade that welcomes in natural sunlight, an updated interior that is designed to more efficient in the use of space, with rooms lit by modern lighting installations that will effectively establishes the ambience for any variety of events.
