Miami Auto Museum

A private collection of Michael Dezer’s cars, including famous movie props.

When you’re a real estate tycoon with a passion for cars, what do you do? Collection and show them off, of course! And that’s what Israeli-American tycoon Dezer does with his large collection of cars in two locations in Florida, the main one being in Miami. Buying and relocating the Cars of the Stars Motor Museum from England, you can see a huge collection of famous cars used in movies as well.

The private collection has one exhibit full of vintage cars from the 1950s and before, acting as a kind of historical journey through the development of automobiles. Though many of them are mock-ups for information purposes, there is a lot of information that would get even the uninitiated interested in cars.

Then there’s the huge collection of movie cars he has, owning everything from the 1948 Ford from Grease, the 1981 DeLorean from Back to the Future, an original Batmobile, and even the original Pursuit Special from Mad Max. They even have the car from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, a Ford Anglia used in Harry Potter, one of Mr Bean’s cars, and more.

The biggest and most prominent collection has to be the James Bond one, including two Aston Martin DB5s and all of Roger Moore’s Lotus Esprits, but having an actual Soviet T-55 tank used in Goldeneye really sets the collection apart. A huge feast for the eyes of movie buffs and car enthusiasts alike, the Miami Auto Museum is not to be missed!
