Better known as "The Met", the Metropolitan Museum of Art is the world's second most-visited museum after the Louvre, and is also the biggest museum in the United States. The Met has an extensive collection that spans over 5,000 years of history, from modern art to ancient Egyptian artefacts, curated by dedicated scholars in specialized fields.
