Mcway Falls

An incredibly beautiful waterfall that flows directly into the ocean.

Arguably the most attractive stop along the Big Sur drive, McWay Falls is an unmissable attraction. A 24-meter, or 80-foot waterfall flowing all year-round from McWay Creek in Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park, this is one of the two waterfalls in the entirety of the California that flow directly into the ocean. Located in a little cove still untouched by human hands, this incredible waterfall provides for a stunning photo opportunity, especially from the lookout point at the end of the McWay Waterfall Trail. Spend some time letting the majestic cascades of the waterfall take your breath away and marvel in the wonder that is Mother Nature at this little haven.
