Magic Kingdom Park

Watch your dreams come true with the wave of a wand at the Magic Kingdom Park.

No matter how old you may be, a trip to the Magic Kingdom Park is all about rediscovering your inner child. As a branch of the happiest place on earth, the Magic Kingdom is inhabited by the biggest of Walt Disney’s Icons including some of his earliest long cartoon features (hint: she ate a poisoned apple).

With one of the greatest density of attractions, it’s to be expected that you’re at a loss on how best to explore the streets of this wondrous kingdom. One of the best Disney roller coasters awaits you at Fantasyland. A trip aboard the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train will bring your family on the park’s first tilting vehicle through sharp bends and scary falls all while watching Sleepy, Grumpy and the others go about their mining tasks gathering glittering gems. Fight the evil space Emperor Zurg with Buzz Lightyear in Tomorrowland as you annihilate targets with your special laser blaster on the move. Reaching Main Street, you can walk down the streets of the US of old, a time which Walt Disney prized the most. Here, the flagstones lead to vintage ice cream parlors and even a haberdashery. Continuing down, a scene straight off the screens comes to life before your eyes. Known to most as the opening credits of any Disney movie, the Cinderella Castle is completely enchanting. As fireworks bloom like colorful, glittering flowers, the 189 foot castle stands resplendent as the universal symbol of ageless dreaming. At the Magic Kingdom Park, all your wishes really do come true.

Tips Before You Go
While parades in most parks are overhyped events of fanfare, the Festival of Fantasy Parade allows up-close and personal interactions with your favorite Disney characters. Watch them float down Main Street and Liberty Square, followed by extravagant troops of dancers spreading cheer. Ariel arrives on a music box from the ocean while Merida and her bear brothers traipse in with their Scottish dancers in the full ensemble of kilts, tweed caps and bagpipes. Colorful, loud and fantastical, this is a parade worth missing the rides for.
