Maccallum Pool

A swimming hole overlooking the magnificent Sydney Opera House.

Originally just a rock pool created by residents as a safe harbour-swimming hole, Maccallum Pool was restored in 1920s while maintaining its heritage theme. It continues to stand as a free harbourside pool popular for swimming and taking in stunning views of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House. The timber deck by the pool is also a common sunbathing spot on winter afternoons.
