Lummus Park

A 74-acre beachfront park facing the Atlantic Ocean.

On the eastern side of Ocean Drive, nestled between the beach and the Atlantic Ocean is a beautiful park that offers the ability to go tanning, walk your dog or get drinks and relax at the same time. Park of the Art Deco District of Miami, the park has been the scene of many-a movie or television episode (most famously the crime drama Miami Vice) due to its gorgeous palm trees, and the backdrop of the ocean on one side, and the luxurious hotels and resorts of Miami South Beach on the other.

But Lummus Park is so much more than a place to sit back and look at the ocean. The large park is often used as a concert venue or location for festivals and events, including the South Beach (SoBe) Seafood Festival and the yearly location for the Nautica South Beach Triathlon, involving a bike course, run, and swim.
