Lugnason Falls

A serene and calm paradise.

Consisting of a series of 12 waterfalls, each representing one of the 12 zodiac signs, the magnificent Luganason Falls is idyllic and tranquil in its beauty, providing visitors with a temporary haven away from the main tourist crowds at other popular attractions on Siquijor Island. The waterfalls originate from a natural spring located upriver from the main falls, before spilling into a clear, turquoise basin of considerable depth at the main falls of Lugnason.

An enchanting tale surrounds the intriguing origins of the Lugnason Falls, in which local shamans are rumoured to have blessed the place and enabled the falls to flourish and come alive with an abundance of water that currently constitute the lovely falls. Today, visitors can engage in a variety of activities at the charming Lugnason Falls, including swimming in its turquoise waters, cliff jumping, and an amazing rope swing that makes for an exhilarating Tarzan experience for adventurous thrill-seekers.
