Home to football clubs FC Zürich and Grasshopper Club Zürich, the Letzigrund stadium has existed in its current form since 2007. Football fans will be thrilled to learn that this stadium played host to 3 matches during the Euro 2008 Championship. This is not the first stadium of its kind to have been built at this very spot. In fact, this newer stadium replaced the older one that originally stood here since the 1920s, and currently has a capacity of about 25,000.
