One and a half miles of pure exhilaration - the Leo Carrillo State Park has something for everyone in this stretch of rugged shore and beach. You name it. The park is named after Leo Carrillo, a popular actor who was a firm believer in conservation and loved the outdoors. A member of the California Beach and Parks Commission for almost two decades, he was instrumental in the state’s acquisition of a large area of property.

You can go swimming in the refreshing waters or grab a surfboard to traverse the waves. Windsurfing and surf fishing are also some of the common activities visitors enjoy.
