Lands End Labyrinth

Get lost in a labyrinth overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge.

Along the Coastal Trail at Lands End in San Francisco is a curious attraction: a labyrinth constructed by local artist Eduardo Aguilera in 2004. To find this hidden labyrinth, take a hike out to Mile Rock Beach. Visitors will be rewarded with a visual spectacle during the hike to the labyrinth, which provides a stunning view of the Golden Gate Bridge in the far distance. Kids will also enjoy venturing in and out of the labyrinth, and everyone will definitely appreciate the peaceful surroundings, which provide a reprieve from the hustle and bustle of the city.

However, seeing as this site is not officially endorsed by the park, the trails can be unmaintained at times, so always be cautious. Visitors have to be extremely careful upon reaching the labyrinth as well, as the location can be very windy and slippery. In spite of all that, the labyrinth provides a great escape for those seeking a brief getaway from the hectic city life.
