Koningin Astridpark

Relax with the family at this peaceful garden.

As you step into the Koningin Astridpark, the peace and tranquillity you experience here will render you completely relaxed. It is no wonder then that this place served as a monastery garden for centuries. While the accompanying monastery occupied by the Friars Minor was demolished in the 18th century, its beautiful garden prevailed, spreading smiles to locals and tourists alike.

This is the ideal place for some family fun time, as there is a playground for your young ones to get their juices flowing, while you enjoy the sights that the flowers and fountains provide you. A largely undiscovered place nestled near the city centre, leave all your troubles and aches behind and unwind at the peaceful Koningin Astridpark.
