KODE Art Museum

An extensive collection of art works and designs spread over four buildings.

Originally starting out as an idea sparked by a handful of citizens in the 19th century, KODE Art Museum is an esteemed art vista that has grown into a series of museums scattered across the city of Bergen. Ranging from temporary to semi-permanent exhibitions, the art collection flaunted at KODE Art Museum is so vast you would need a week to appreciate it all. Each work of art is a masterpiece that needs no praise for it to be recognised. With a section catered specially to children, families can rest assured that your kids won’t wreak havoc in a fit of boredom. The picture book format exhibition and art installations will be a guaranteed blast for them, an immersive experience that will stimulate an endless curiosity and wonder. A journey into the imagination, this is where you can view Van Gogh and Picasso in person – need I say more?
