Bumbling and tumbling over six points, the Kitekite falls in Auckland flow elegantly and persistently. Surrounded by a backdrop of lush greenery, watch as the water cascades into the stream below, and understand why this 40m long waterfall has been regarded as one of the most popular falls in the Waitakere Ranges. You can even get up close and personal with the falls by taking a dip in the stream.


The falls can be reached by following the Kitekite track, a track that is not too physically strenuous and is easily to follow due to its organized signposting. Taking you approximately 40 minutes to get here, pack your swimwear and jump right in! As you cool off in this lovely waterfall, rest assured that Kitekite Falls is a place you will be hard-pressed to leave.
