Khao Phanom Bencha National Park

Home to a myriad of activities, head down to Khao Paonom Bencha National Park for an adventure-filled day.

As you arrive in Krabi, you are likely to have your breath taken away by a majestic mountain - Khao Paonom Bencha. This very mountain can be hiked, doing so through the national park that shares the same name! Khao Paonom Bencha National Park is home to lovely trails where you can hike up the almost 2000 metre tall Khao Paonom Bencha mountain. A hike that is slightly tricky and tiring, do be well-prepared to get in a workout here.

Majestic in stature, it is comparable to the equally stunning Huai To Waterfall situated here! Amassing 11-tiers, the water cascades beautifully down 1.2 metres. The park is a lovely area of virgin rainforest, perfect in every possible way and largely untouched and unharmed. As you embark on trails here, look out for a large variety of birds that arrive here! With over 200 birds who call the park their home, try looking out for a spot of yellow! Belonging to the endangered Gurney’s Pitta, they were previously thought to be extinct. Do also look out for the various species of hornbills and pheasants.
