Kathisma Beach, located some 15 kilometres from the city of Lefkada, is frequented by visitors en masse every year for its striking turquoise blue waters and fine white sand. Filling the background are green mountains that add charm to this beach. Apart from swimming and sunbathing, there also various watersport activities that you can indulge in, especially sky parachuting. If that sounds like too much adrenaline for your relaxing vacation, feel free to bask in the sun instead, lounging on one of the sun beds. Do exercise caution if you’re planning to bring children as the water deepens rather quickly, like many other beaches in on the West coast of the island. After working up an appetite, make your way to one of the beachside eateries, indulging in some much needed food and drinks while enjoying the view.
