Kastro Beach

Petite beach cove with shimmering gray sand and pebbles.

Located on the northernmost tip of the island of Skiathos, Kastro Beach is a charming beach backed by steep cliffs. While this scenic beach cove doubles as a drop-off point for tourists who visit Skiathos by boat, not many stay to enjoy Kastro Beach, allowing it to retain much of its tranquillity. The black, greyish sand makes a stunning contrast against the clear aquamarine waters, while the peripheral scatter of rocks embellish the already-gorgeous beach view.

Kastro Beach also houses an unassuming tavern that serves a better menu than it looks, resulting in high traffic. Despite its seclusion, it would be a shame to visit Skiathos without dropping by Kastro Beach to revel in its serenity.
