Jeju Stone Park in South Korea is positively, a perfect place for Geology geeks. This park is a great spot to learn more about Jeju and how it formed. According to legend, the island of Jeju was created by the goddess Grandmother Seolmundae, who was also the creator of the stones of Obaek Janggun. The sky pond in the park depicts the tale of this founder. There are 3 different paths you can take to explore the parts of the area, and each path will take you about an hour.


For a concrete explanation of the formation of Jeju through geological and volcanic activities, pay a visit to the Jeju Stone Museum inside the park. Along your journey, you will encounter many interesting stone sculptures, making your trip to Jeju Stone Park all the more memorable.
