The Israel Museum showcases a myriad of exhibitions dating back from the dawn of civilisation, up till present day. See the sacred Shrine of the Book at the unique urn-shaped museum, which also houses the Dead Sea Scrolls, artifacts discovered in Masada and a nail used for crucifixion in Jesus’ time.

Be awe-inspired by the interior of a Zedek ve Shalom synagogue (1736) from Suriname, a 17th century mosaic prayer niche from Persia and even the jewelleries which once adorned the necks of Jewish brides in Yemen. Head outdoors to see the lovely Billy Rose Art Garden, designed by the sculptor Isamu Noguchi and admire the interesting Love sculpture by Robert Indiana.
