For anyone looking for an interesting cultural experience, Incheon Chinatown should be on your to-do list! The only official Chinatown in Korea, you will be greeted by a massive, intricate Chinese-styled gateway known as paifang. Incheon Chinatown is the place where a Korean-Chinese dish called jjajangmyeon was born, and while finding authentic Chinese food might be hard, this is where authentic Korean-Chinese dishes abound.


After having a yummy meal, walk around this bustling and colourful little area! Visit Wiseondang, the only Chinese-styled shrine in Korea; walk down Samgukji Mural Street, where murals of fables and folklore abound; Jjajangmyeon Museum will show you how this popular Korean-Chinese dish came to be; and the little stores all around, nestled snugly in little alleys await your leisurely perusal!
