Ihwa Mural Village

A cultural and creative experience on Mount Naksan.

Lying atop the slopes of Mount Naksan is the quaint, picturesque town of Ihwa Mural Village. One of the oldest neighbourhoods in Seoul, South Korea’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism set out to develop this humble village into one that is now an extremely popular attraction for locals and visitors alike!

Stunning murals now cover the little hilltop village - art fuses into real life, incorporated into walls, fences, rooftops and stairways! Alleyways proudly display huge mural and beautiful sculptures call the roads by the park their home. Within Ihwa Mural Village, you will also find quaint little museums, cafes and art centres, adding to the trendy, hippie, bohemian vibes of the place. So spend an afternoon exploring the little nooks and crannies of the village - you never know what delight awaits you as you turn the corner!
