The Church of San Manuel y San Benito is one of the more well-known churches in Madrid, owing to its Neo-Byzantine architectural style and its distinctive domed-shaped ceiling. Built in the early 20th century by architect Fernando Arbós y Tremanti (1840 – 1916), visitors will be awed by its beautiful interior, and its extraordinary high dome that is painted with the figures of the Four Evangelists.
