Despite its namesake, the Home of Marin Drzic was not the house of Marin Drzic (1508 – 1567), a playwright and comedian that was commonly considered the best during the Croatian Renaissance. The Home of Marin Drzic is a combination of a memorial house and a museum dedicated to Drzic. However, the objects found here was not Drzic's; none of his items he used were ever preserved.

What this place showcases are scenes from his life, which often intertwines with his plays. Self-guided audio tours as well as arranged guided tours are available at the house. There is also a statue of Drzic outside the building, which is said to bring good luck to those who sit on his lap and rub his nose. Hence, many have attempted that feat, which is evident through the obvious discoloration on the statue.
