Healesville Sanctuary is a zoo that specializes in the handling of native Australian animals in their natural habitat. Covering 30 hectares, the zoo enables visitors to interact with Australia's unique wildlife. Animals like Koalas, Kangaroos, Wallabies, and Wombats can be found here. One of the main attractions is the Platypus show, which allows visitors to watch the sanctuary's most beloved animal as they play and interact with the keepers. Visitors can also learn and observe how vets in the zoo nurse the sick animals back to health at the Australian Wildlife Health Centre.
