The famous wooden 11-faced Kannon statue is also located here, standing at about 10 meters tall and serving as a model for all Hase Kannon statues in Japan. Visitors are even allowed to touch and kiss the statue during spring and autumn! Another site not to be missed is the five-storied pagoda, along with the beautiful backdrop of foliage during spring and autumn. All these and many more historical and religious treasures spanning across over 30 buildings await you at the Hase-dera Temple.
