Hamn i Senja Lighthouse is one of Senja’s top attractions. The lighthouse offers a panoramic view of its surroundings. Behind the lighthouse is a small cluster of buildings at the foot of a picturesque hill while in front of it is the sea, flecked with faraway islands and flanked by a boardwalk filled with restaurants.

The lighthouse is furnished with comfortable chairs so that you can admire the landscape around you for hours on end. It is one of the best places to see the midnight sun in summer, or the Aurora Borealis in winter. Winter also brings with it orcas and humpback whales chasing the schools of migrating herring – the only time you can see both orcas and humpbacks in one place!
