Hagar Qim Temples (Mnajdra & Ħaġar Qim)

These megalithic structure Existed an Estimated 3,600 years before Jesus Christ. Prehistoric!

Nature has it dense jungles, wide oceans and tall mountains which have captivated and spurred the hearts of men to conquer these products of natural circumstances. And conquered the prehistoric Neolithics did. Embodying an ingenuity that predates the convenience of contemporary lifestyles, an ability that represents our potential as human beings fellow men can take pride in is the Hagar Qim and Mndajdra. Travel from chamber to chamber, and observe and touch the megaliths, some smooth, ornated, or coarse with perforated dimples, for they speak a very ancient language that cannot be heard, only seen and felt, telling of a history of time itself and its relationship with the primative men who lived then.

Of the howling winds that continue to wear the stone down, audible from the entrance of the former houses of worship built completely of Globigerina limestone that faces the Mediterrinian sea, it instils a shiver from its quality of primal ferocity, screaming since time immemorial. It is simply magical being in the middle of coalensed circumstances that triangulate so precisely at that very spot where the eternal winds are blown as if from perpetual violence and the prehistoric temples that still stands defiant against centuries.

Staring out to the sea, there is a hint of visceral romanticism that can be felt amongst the ruins of hardened limestone that the continuity of time was once experienced by those from the past, will be continued to be experienced by those of the present, and perhaps, the future.
