Grouse Mountain

A perfect holiday destination for winter sports enthusiasts.

Grouse Mountain is one of the North Shore Mountains of the Pacific Ranges in the District Municipality of North Vancouver in Canada. It towers over 1200m in altitude and its peak is the site of an alpine ski area, the Grouse Mountain Resort, which looms over Greater Vancouver with four chairlifts. Grouse Mountain Resort showcases the Lumberjack Show in the summer, along with wildlife shows, a scenic chairlift ride and a 2.9km hiking trail, commonly known as the Grouse Grind and of course, helicopter sightseeing. The ski and snowboard area which is situated at the southern slope of the mountain, is operational during the winter months between December and May. It features four chairlifts facilitating 26 runs, half of which are lit for night skiing and snowboarding. Other facilities in the area include four snowshoeing trails in the Munday Alpine Snowshoe Park and an outdoor ice skating rink adjacent to the chalet.
