Rising majestically at a height of 1455.5m, the Großer Arber "Great Maple" is the highest peak of the Bavarian and Bohemian Forest mountain range. This enchanting forest is covered by sub-alpine grasses and creeping pines, which makes it very picturesque. Great for hiking in spring when the mountain flowers are in full bloom or see the golden hues of falling leaves in autumn.
